Konami has told VG247 that the definitive specs for the PC version of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes will be released tomorrow.
There has been some confusion about the minimum and recommended PC specs for the PC version of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes. Back in November Konami posted the minimum and recommended specs on the game’s Steam page.
The specs has since been changed (thanks, Silicon Era). The most curious change is the addition of the minimum requirement of 4GB of VRAM, which is only mentioned in the ‘minimum’ section. The video card featured as a minimum requirement (GTX 650) does not typically come with 4GBs of VRAM, which adds to the confusion.
A Konami spokesperson told VG247 that the definitive list of specs will be released tomorrow, December 18, which is also the game’s release date.
“The specifications have been changed a couple of times on the Steam site it seems. The definitive ones will be up on the MGS page tomorrow and the Steam page shortly after,” said the spokesperson.
