PlayStation UK is setting up an incredible scheme that lets you acquire a PlayStation 4 20th Anniversary Edition for less than 20 quid.
UPDATE: Because people have been queuing up since 6:30pm yesterday, all the consoles are now gone. Sony told Eurogamer that the rest (amounting to 80% of the volume allocated to the UK) will be sold online starting December 15 at the regular £399 price.
The pop-op shop will still be open on Wednesday and Thursday.
Original Story: The folks at PlayStation UK and PlayStation Access have devised a way for anyone with £19.94 to get a PlayStation 4 20th Anniversary Edition console. There will be a retail store somewhere in London, open starting today, that will have 94 units of the thing.
There is a catch though; you’ll have to bring a piece of PlayStation memorabilia, and give the “I crashed my bandicoot” pass phrase when you arrive. Oh, and you’ll also need to find the store first. There are some clues as to where it is in the video below, so keep watching.
If you can’t make it today, the store will still be selling 50 units of the Anniversary Edition on Thursday and Friday at the RRP. The proceeds will all go to GamesAid.
