Kickstarter success Distance announced for 2015 release on PS4

Distance, the futuristic racing game from Refract studios, has been announced for a 2015 release on PlayStation 4.

The game was successfully funded on Kickstarter back in 2012 for $161,981.

The development team sold the project to backers as a game to ‘fill the void’ left by the closure of WipEout team Studio Liverpool.

Distance is also set to be released as an Early Access title for PC on Steam next week, and is also in development for Mac and Linux.

More information on the racer was posted to the PS Blog today by developer Jordan Hemenway alongside a new trailer which we’ve inserted below.
