Square Enix has announced the Eternal Bond feature in Patch 2.45 for Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn is available from today.

The Ceremony of Eternal Bonding is a “special rite of passage” for two individuals who wish to pledge a life of devotion to the other.

You know. Get married. Or what have you. How magical.

Doing so will also provide players with special rewards as part of the celebrations. Nothing was mentioned about tax breaks.

The game features three different levels of Ceremony raging from a simple affair to varied extras.

Players who wish to participate in nuptials will be welcomed into the Sanctum of the Twelve, where they may “take an oath to their union before the eyes of gods and men.”

The packages, ranging from Standard to Platinum, contain a number of items including: equipment, hairstyle vouchers, ceremony choice and rewards.

More information on the packages and how to book can be found on the official website.
