Nintendo has updated the eShop offerings for North America, and as promised yesterday, an updated version of the popular classic from SEGA, After Burner 2, has arrived on Virtual Console.
The game has been remastered for 3DS, and for those unfamiliar with the title, it tasks the player will piloting an F-14D fighter through enemy territory. Players will need to shoot down squadrons of enemy fighters. A video and screens for the title are below.
Lufia: The Legend Returns has also been released for Virtual Console, along with Street Fighter 2010.
Nintendo is also hosting a Throwback Sale for Wii U titles, as well as the Super Indie Connection Sale which runs through January 29.
