EA’s FIFA 15 sold 2.66 million copies in the UK during 2014, making it the best-selling video game of the year.
Activision’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare wasn’t far behind it with 1.84 million copies, according to figures released by the Entertainment Retailer’s Association.
Both were outsold by Frozen on DVD and Blu-ray, which shifted just over 4 million units. Don’t front like you haven’t been singing For The First Time In Forever for the past two weeks.
Grand Theft Auto V sold 1.34 million units, Destiny sold just over 937,000 units and Watch Dogs almost 809,000 units during the year, according to the list of top sellers reprinted below.
The sales figures don’t include digital sales of games or video but the ERA did note that according to research firm IHS, digital now accounts for over 60 percent of games sales in the UK.
