Nyko has unveiled a solution to increasing storage on the PS4 over the standard 500GB limited
The Data Bank is a dock that replaces the top of the PS4 and its 2.5″ hard drive, providing compatibility with 3.5″ hard drives, which users slot into place.
“The solution eliminates the need for an external hard drive, which currently cannot support game installs or save data,” said Nyko at CES.
“This also allows for larger storage, faster running speeds and less expensive prices found with 3.5″ hard drives.”
There’s currently no price or release date for the Data Bank, but look out for more info during the first half of the year.
