Artist adds video game and sci-fi characters to thrift store paintings

Those who frequent yard sales, Goodwill, or flea markets are used to seeing artwork for sale. Sometimes for $1 or less and what isn’t bought usually ends up in a landfill. That’s where artist Dave Pollot comes in.

Pollot buys the art, adds video game or sci-fi characters into it, and puts it up for sale on his etsy store.

His work is really creative and the prices are rather nice.

I have to say I am particularity fond of his Futurama art, especially ones which include a giant Bender, but the Luigi one you see above is just as great. So is the one of Bowser below.
