Mortal Kombat X will miss its initial April launch on old-gen consoles.
Earlier this morning, the listing for the Xbox 360 version of Mortal Kombat X on Amazon.com pointed towards a June launch for the game, something which wasn’t announced by publisher Warner Bros. prior.
The game’s most recent trailer only showed the PC and current-gen logos, which added further credence to the Amazon listing.
Warner has now confirmed that both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game have been pushed back to summer.
“Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today confirmed that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Mortal Kombat X being developed by High Voltage Software will release this summer,” the publisher told Videogamer in a statement.
“The Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC versions will be available April 14.”
