Sony has announced a closed beta for its PlayStation Now service will begin in the UK this spring.
Plus member will “be among the first” to use the service, but you will need to register in order to get in on the beta. The tester will open to non-Plus members as the beta progresses.
The beat is available on PS4 only and PS Now will initially be free of charge, however; at later stages of the trial rental periods and pricing models will be tested and will require payment.
Games included in the closed beta are:
- Dirt 3
- Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
- God of War Ascension
- Just Cause 2
- Rayman Legends
- Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package
- The Last of Us
- The Walking Dead
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
When PS Now launches in the UK you’ll be able to stream games at a “low rental cost”, initially to PS4 then to other devices, including PS3, PS Vita and select Sony Bravia TVs.
