The main story for Remember Me 2 has been written, according to Dontnod, now it’s up to Capcom to give the developers a thumbs up. The team is also bouncing around ideas for Life is Strange Season Two, despite it not being in development yet.
Speaking with Siliconera, creative director Jean-Maxime Moris said while the team’s focus is on Life is Strange at the moment, it would “absolutely love to” work on a Remember Me sequel.
“We know what we would do for Remember Me 2.,” he said. “The main story has been written, we know what we would add to the recipe. We know what we would fix. It’s a game that’s ready to be made, but that decision is Capcom’s to make.”
Moris said the team would like to work on episodes for Life is Strange, which currently has a five episode arc.
“For Season 2 we started bouncing ideas off each other,” he said. “Obviously we need to see and Square Enix needs to see how the first season does to really decide whether we kick it off or not.
“It’s not in the works, but we have started the very early stages of conception at Dontnod.”
Episode One of Life is Strange is out now and Episode Two is out this month. s scheduled to come out sometime in March.
