GDC 2015: Creating the Open World Kite Real-Time Demo in Unreal Engine 4

The Unreal Kite demo running in real-time in Unreal Engine 4 at 30fps and featuring fully dynamic direct and indirect illumination, cinematic quality depth of field and motion blur, PBR photo modeled assets and procedural asset placement.

GDC 2015: The State of Unreal Engine

Epic founder and CEO Tim Sweeney shares the company’s future of games and game technology and showed projects created using Unreal Engine 4; a behind-the-scenes look at Unreal Tournament; the firm’s VR collaboration with Weta Digital on Thief in the Shadows; the announcement of GTX Titan X by Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang.

In this A.M.A. style session, developers have a candid discussion with Epic’s senior Unreal Engine developers and leadership.
