Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 has been announced for current and last-gen

By Stephany Nunneley

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 has been announced by Activision, which isn’t shocking in the slightest.

Correction: My stupid brain has EA on it due to the financials release later today. The game is being published by Activision. Not EA and I previously stated. I apologize, and have reprimanded myself in a most severe manner.

Now, back to the game.

According to what NeoGAF gleaned from the latest issue of Game Informer, the skater is coming to current and last-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles and is in development at Robomodo which developed the Tony Hawk titles subtitled Ride and Shred.

It will feature various modes such as single-player, co-op and competitive online, per Eurogamer. It also has power-ups and players can even shoot projectiles of some sort.

Ishod Wair, Riley Hawk, Lizzie Armanto and Chris Cole are just a few of the skaters confirmed.

Pro Skater 5 will be released sometime this year.
