The Deep End Games Kickstarter for Perception has ended a success.
The campaign’s 4,357 backers pledged $168,041 toward the $150,000 goal. Fundraising will be continued through the official website in order to meet proposed stretch goals.
At $350,000 a PS4 version will be developed, and should the $400,00 goal be met, it will be released for Xbox One. A pledge option should be made available soon.
In the video below, the game’s creative director and 12-year Irrational veteran Bill Gardner, introduces Silent Night Mode. It allows players to choose between a “talkative Cassie” or a Cassie “who only speaks plot critical lines.”
Another video posted below gives you a look at Mode 7, which is retro-inspired, It changes the look and sound of Perception to feel like a 16-bit game.
The Deep End Games announced the first-person horror game back in May. In it, players take on the role of a blind woman named Cassie exploring a haunted mansion.
Perception is slated for a 2016 launch.
