Halo 5: Guardians was the kick off game for Microsoft’s E3 2015 press conference, showing attendees a look at the campaign demo.

The campaign debut showed Spartan Locke and Fireteam Osiris in the mission “Battle of Sunaion,” as they pursue the Master Chief and Blue Team on the planet Sanghelios.

343 Industries said the game features seamless drop-in/out online co-operative gameplay on dedicated servers, and that it contains complex levels “designed to support more enemies and bigger firefights.”

This was shown off in Warzone, the multiplayer map 343 used to demonstrate “enhanced immersive, sophisticated teammate AI” all running at 60fps. Warzone contains massive 24-player battles, and Arena 4-versus-4 competitive combat.

Halo 5 will be available on Xbox One October 27.
