Development on Turbine’s MOBA Infinite Crisis has ceased and the servers will be shut down in August, the developer announced on the game’s official website.
“After much deliberation, we regret to announce the official shutdown of Infinite Crisis,” reads the statement. “We will end development efforts today and will close the service on August 14.
“Between now and August 14, the game will remain available to play completely free. This was an extremely difficult decision to make. On behalf of the entire Infinite Crisis team we want to thank all of you for your feedback, support and for joining together to create one of the best communities in gaming.”
The game had been in development since 2011 and a beta for the online fighter kicked off in 2013. The game saw a full release back in March.
