Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain art is too good for just retail

By Matt Martin

Japanese games stores are getting some pretty hot Metal Gear Solid V artwork to promote the game.

As revealed by series creator Hideo Kojima, the work by Pablo Uchida will start appearing once the promotions for The Phantom Pain begin after E3.

Fans are already requesting the artwork is made available to buy – if Konami doesn’t make that a reality, expect it to get bootlegged or see retail posters selling for high sums on ebay.

You can see a lot more of Pablo Uchida’s character design and illustration on his official site, or follow him on Twitter.

We’ll have a big preview of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain next week. The game is due from publisher Konami on September 1 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4. It’s due on PC on September 15.
