Not only will Microsoft host a gamescom 2015 press conference this year, attendees will be able to get hands-on with some of the firm’s upcoming titles and exclusives.
The evening before gamescom officially kicks off, which is Tuesday, August 4, the Xbox briefing will show off many of the games coming to Xbox One, including titles like Scalebound, Quantum Break, and Crackdown.
Viewers at home can tune into the Xbox Press Briefing on Xbox One, Xbox.com, Xbox 360, and Windows Phone. You will need to download the free Xbox Live Event interactive app (XLEi app) on your Xbox One or XLE on your Xbox 360 before the show.
Microsoft’s booth will be open to the public August 6-9, and if you stop by you can play Halo 5: Guardians, Forza Motorsport 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider and others.
The firm is also offering a similar experience to the Xbox FanFest which occurred at E3 2015. From August 4-5, a group of fans will get “exclusive access to the greatest games lineup in Xbox history,” as well as a host of “other surprises.”
More details on this were promised at a later date.
