ReCore and Sea of Thieves no show at gamescom

ReCore and Sea of Thieves are two Xbox One exclusives that won’t be at gamescom this year.

Two of the games announced at E3 2015 in June will miss gamescom in August. Microsoft’s Phil Spencer revealed today in an answer to a fan on Twitter.

Spencer said the reason is that having the studios work on another demo so close to E3 will be “tough on production”.

In another tweet, Spencer said that Remedy’s Quantum Break has benefited from not being at E3, and that he’s “very happy” to have given the studio the time.

Microsoft isn’t exactly short on exclusive titles to show at gamescom. The publisher has already confirmed Quantum Break, Crackdown, and Scalebound will all be there.
