It’s been five years since StarCraft 2 first released and Blizzard is making sure the occasion is well-celebrated.
Blizzard is celebrating the fifth anniversary of StarCraft 2 in a number of cool ways. A blog post on Battle.net detailed what you can expect in the coming days.
First up, anyone who logs in and plays a game from July 27 to August 3 will receive a special in-game portrait. Some units will also explode in a cloud of (virtual) confetti, adding to the festivities.
In addition, Blizzard will be posting new wallpapers to the Battle.net’s media section. Physical prizes will also be offered soon through the official site, so keep an eye on there if you want to snag something.
