Stasis, the 2D isometric, point-and-click sci-fi horror adventure game from Johannesburg-based developer, The Brotherhood, will release at the end of the month.

The project was a Kickstarter success in 2013 and was popular on Steam Greenlight as well.

The game takes place the spacecraft Groomlake where John Maracheck has just awoken from stasis. Players will need to maneuver JOhn around the craft and solve puzzles to save his family.

While exploring, players will discover a horrific experiment has taken place, and you can solve the mystery of it by interacting with equipment, computers, machinery and the inhabitants which are on the spaceship.

Stasis also features an inventory system which John can open and retrieve items which may be useful to him. They can also be combined to change the function.

The only way to progress further into the ship, is to solve the various puzzles.

Stasis will be released on August 31 for PC on GOG and Steam.
