Those who participate in the closed beta will be able to test all of the latest features implemented with the F2P switch.

All current subscribers are able to access the tester, as well as non-subscribers who have received a closed beta key.

Anyone can sign up for a closed beta key by visiting the WidlStar F2P website.

NCSoft and Carbine Studios announced in May its WildStar MMO would become F2P in fall 2015.

As with many MMOs which transitioned from subscription-based to the new payment model, a loyalty program will be offered to those who continue to pay for a sub.

Carbine said it would remain committed to “ensuring WildStar is AAA,” by offering polished, regular updates and a high-quality experience.
