Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is a “uniquely British apocalypse”

A new behind-the-scenes video has been released for The Chinese Room’s Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture.

In the video above, creative director Dan Pinchbeck and environment artist Alex Grahame discuss their thoughts on what makes the game a “uniquely British apocalypse.”

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is set in the remote Yaughton Valley in June 1984 after the end of the world.

Choices players make will have a direct impact on how the story is understood.

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture will launch exclusively on PlayStation 4 August 11 in both Europe and North America and PS Plus subscribers will get 20% off discount during the first two weeks of release.
