It’s taken five years, but TowerClimb has finally landed on Steam for PC.
According to Siliconera, the roguelike platformer developed by Davioware is set in a world where humans are obsessed with climbing the large towers which go way up into the sky.
Each human has its own name, and you will play one of them until the character is killed. Then, you will play as another named human.
Creatures, plants and traps are stationed on the tower, and each are procedurally generated, so don’t try to memorize things because it won’t word from the sound of it. Random events will also take place, and many are rather dangerous.
However, each time you die, you will learn how to deal with these events and obstacles when they pop up. Players can also collect items which will help them along the way.
There will be bonus modes to play which can be unlocked, and it supports up to 25-player local multiplayer. It will only supports four controllers which means others player will have to use a keyboard.
TowerClimb was released on Steam yesterday and so far reviews seem to be rather positive. It will run you $14.99.
