If you buy Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on a last-gen console, your stats will remain there.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer stats accumulated on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will stay on the old generation. The game’s developer Treyarch has confirmed recently that there’ll be no migration option this year.
Here’s the studio’s David Vonderhaar answering a fan on Twitter.

With Advanced Warfare and Ghosts before it, Activision offered players the option of a free one-time multiplayer stats transfer within the console family.
This programme was the publisher’s way of making the transition to Xbox one and PlayStation 4 easier. Offering the option for data migration is something that perhaps made more sense with Advanced Warfare and Ghosts, but not so much with Black Ops 3 – given the current sales data.
Activision initially did not announce the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 ports. Instead, the publisher revealed the news through its blog. These versions launch on the same day, November 6.
