Here’s some PC-centric issues beta players helped fix in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

Treyarch outlined how testers helped smooth a few things out during the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta on console. Now it’s turned the spotlight on the PC version.

Per a post on its community website, here’s a sampling of the PC-specific changes and improvements players can expect on launch day:

  • The PC Beta didn’t include final performance optimizations. Work on this being completed and will improve performance thanks to working with “hardware partners” on optimized drivers.
  • There were problems pertaining to the game being “floaty” or “laggy.” The problem was found and fixed.
  • Certain networking configurations had trouble connecting to online services. This compatibility issue was fixed.
  • Various crashes, freezes, or other bugs are being dissected and many of the bugs pertaining to crashes a freezes have been squished.

Again, this is just a small list of PC fixes that have been implemented or are in progress.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 launches on November 6.
