Lego: Dimensions has sold better in its first week than the most recent releases in the Disney Infinity and Skylanders series.
Lego: Dimensions has sold more copies in its first week than Disney Infinity 3.0 and Skylanders: Superchargers in the same time period.
The three games are the main franchises in the Toys to Life genre, which includes figures and toysets alongside a video game.
Despite the strong performance and a release earlier in the week, Lego: Dimensions didn’t sell enough to shift FIFA 16 from the top of the UK charts.
Other new entries include NBA 2K16 at 3, which saw sales up over 50 percent compared to last year, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer at 6 and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 at 12.
