Twitch has released its top 20 game rankings for September and the number one slot may surprise you considering two highly anticipated titles released last month.
Or maybe not, because it was League of Legends and it tends to be number one quite a bit. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive also stayed at number two for the month.
Hearthstone pushed Dota 2 out of its comfortable spot at number three, and there were some noticeable differences in September thanks to some triple-A releases.
Twitch noted Destiny saw an nice uptick thanks to The Taken King expansion, which moved the title up four positions to fifth place.
Debuts included Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain in sixth place, Super Mario Maker at 11, FIFA 16 at 12, and Mad Max debuted at 19.
This at least gives you an idea of what folks are streaming and subsequently watching on Twitch.
