Square Enix said today that it plans to take old franchises developed on previous platforms and bring them forward to current-gen hardware.
The new platforms include possible VR versions. All very exciting.
The publisher has already wowed fans this year with confirmation of a Final Fantasy 7 remake, a long-begged-for project it finally confirmed at E3 this summer.
The question is, what would you most like to see rebooted on PS4, Xbox One and virtual reality systems? Want a new Front Mission? A new-gen Final Fantasy Tactics?
Don’t forget that Square now owns all the old Eidos properties: how about a rebooted Saboteur or Backyard Wrestling? Imagine a new VR version of Anachronox? I probably cannot.
