Starting Friday, November 6 at 4am PT/7am ET/12pm UK, GHL players will be able to check out the content additions free of charge.

This includes the latest GHTV offerings introduced this week, which are:

Black Veil Brides Premium Show: Playable footage from the band’s live concert DVD “Alive and Burning,” will go live on Friday. It features the first ever recorded live performance during the Black Mass Tour at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. Three of the songs from the DVD will be playable in GHTV, including “Heart of Fire (Live)”, “Fallen Angels (Live)” and “In the End (Live).”

Legendary Headliners Premium Show: Includes “Monster” by Paramore, “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” by Fall Out Boy and “First Date” by Blink-182. This goes live today.

Pop Goes GHTV Premium Show: Features “Chocolate” by The 1975, “Believer” by American Authors and “Budapest” by George Ezra. This goes live today.

More music, including playable concert footage and music videos from Judas Priest, Iggy Pop, Bully, Leon Bridges, Biffy Clyro, Weezer, Rival Sons, St. Vincent, Alice in Chains, System of a Down, Bring Me the Horizon and many more are slated for the coming weeks.

For those confused, Premium Shows are limited time challenges only available to those who meet the prerequisites or buy-in with earned currency. Specific songs from the Guitar Hero TV library can also be purchased using in-game currency to “rent” a track for “one” play, otherwise the player will have to wait for the songs to go back into rotation.

However, if you don’t want to wait for your favorite song to go back into rotation you can use real money to buy extra Play Tokens to play songs on demand in GHTV. Players earn in-game currency by playing through the game, which allows them to acquire Play Tokens to play songs on demand.

You can also use real money to acquire more Play Tokens, or to get quicker access to Premium Shows.

Also, buying a track doesn’t mean you can play it offline as all tracks are cloud-based and aren’t your “typical” DLC.

Guitar Hero Live is available now on PlayStation 3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
