A new entry in the Double Dragon series is on the way, and you won’t have to wait long for it.

Announced over the New Year’s holiday weekend by Arc System Works, Double Dragon 4 is the title of the next installment in the classic, side-scrolling, beat’em up series and the battlefield has moved to Japan.

Developers involved in the 1987 arcade version are on board, including creator Yoshihisa Kishimoto, designer Koji Ogata and composer Kazunaka Yamane.

The game supports two-player offline play, and sports retro-style graphics

There wasn’t much else revealed in the press release, other than the release date and platforms: January 29 for PSN on PlayStation 4 and January 30 for PC via Steam.

In Japan, the game will run ¥800, which is around $7 in the US, but a price outside of that region has yet to be announced.
