The first closed beta for Ghost Recon: Wildlands kicks off next weekend, and to prepare you for what’s in store, Ubisoft has released three videos, one of which walks you through player customization.
Those who have signed up for the Ghost Recon: Wildlands testers should know the first closed beta kicks off next weekend on February 3 and runs through February 6. Pre-load for PC, PS4 and Xbox One will start on February 1.
Participants will be exploring the province of Itacua, and work to take down key members of the Santa Blanca drug cartel. Similar to the full game, all content in the tester will be playable with up to three others via four player co-op, or in single-player. Players are free to utilize any variety of vehicles, tactical equipment and weapons.
As previously reported, there will be multiple Ghost Recon: Wildlands betas so if you aren’t picked for the first one, you’ll get another chance. Also, each selected player can invite up to three friends to join their team on the same platform.
If you’re interested in learning more about the the multiplayer, Paul Davies recently got his hands on it during a preview event held in Paris earlier this month. Be sure to give it a read. And if you aren’t interested in multiplayer, you should have a look at the single-player.
As you can see in the video above, players are able to customize not only their appearance in Ghost Recon: Wildlands, but they can also adjust their loadout and weapon customization on the fly.
The two videos posted below offer a quick look at the Peruvian Connection pre-order bonus and the other is a standard trailer.
The Peruvian Connection takes players high into the mountains of Bolivia to break a “deadly alliance” between the Santa Blanca and the Peruvian cartels.
And the final video below provides a look at the various environments players and situations in the game.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands releases on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One March 7, 2017.
