The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild update smooths frame rate in trouble spots according to players.
For an open-world game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild doesn’t have a lot of glitches. Sure there’s the odd one here and there, but they’re few and far between.
Nintendo is releasing a patch today, presumably to smooth out any kinks. The patch notes for Ver. 1.1.1 are extensive. I’ve listed them below.
- Adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience
NeoGAF users who have downloaded the update are reporting that Korok Forest, where the frame rate tends to get a bit hairy, is now much more stable.
The patch will download automatically on both the Wii U and Switch when you boot up the game from the Home menu.
Let us know if you notice any significant improvements in problems areas.
