South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be released in October, finally

South Park: The Fractured But Whole has a release date.

The game will be made available on October 17 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Ubisoft said previously, after the game’s second delay, South Park: The Fractured But Whole would release during Q3 2017. October fits, then.

If you are unable to view the video above in your region, here’s the UK version.

As previously reported, players will create their own hero and backstory , fight crime using the all-new combat system , enjoy looting and the new crafting system as they join Coon & Friends to rid South Park of evil-doers.

The game picks up the next day after the events depicted in The Stick of Truth. As previously detailed at E3 2016, Cartman wants to create a franchise for his Coon & Friends superhero group.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be available in four editions: Standard, Gold, Steelbook Gold and Collector’s.

Anyone who purchases the game will receive South Park: The Stick of Truth for free. If you pre-purchase the game at select partners, you can start playing The Stick of Truth immediately.

All pre-orders will also receive an exclusive in-game assistant, Towelie: Your Gaming Bud. The pot-loving towel will provide helpful advice and commentary when visiting key locations throughout the game.

We’ll likely get a fresh look at the game during Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press conference next month.

Again, South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be released on October 17 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Mark your calendars.
