Check out every game For the new Xbox games subscription.
New Xbox One games subscription service Xbox Game Pass is now live for Gold members, letting you get your hands on a whole bunch of games for a monthly fee of $9.99 / £7.99.
If you’re more of a retro gamer you’re in luck – 75 of the games included in the deal are for Xbox 360 compared to 35 Xbox One games.
If you’re not a Xbox Gold Live member you’ll have to wait until June 1 to give the new service a go, otherwise you can jump straight in for a 14 day free trial.
How much does Xbox Game Pass cost?
Xbox Game Pass costs $9.99 a month in the US and £7.99 in the UK, and €9.99 in Europe. Each month Microsoft will rotate a number of games in and out of the service for you to play. For that price you get to play all of the games but keep them.
If you decide to buy an Xbox One game while it’s on the service you’ll get 20 percent discount on the Xbox Store price, and a further 10 percent on additional DLC.
It’s not possible to stream games via the service – you’ll need to download the game before you begin to play and games can be played offline for a full 30 days. As with other Xbox games, you’ll need to have Xbox Live to play online although you don’t need it to access Xbox Game Pass.
