Assassin’s Creed origins was always going to show up on one platform holder’s stage or another, but Microsoft was first in with a stunning gameplay demo.
Running on the newly named, dated and priced Xbox One X in 4K, the Assassin’s Creed Origins gameplay shows new protagonist Bayek returning to Siwa, the town of his birth, to kill a false oracle.
Ubisoft staff joined Microsoft on stage to present the footage. We saw Bayek riding on horseback, shooting enemies, and messing about in boats. Looks like Assassin’s Creed Origins rumours and leaks were right on the money.
Assassin’s Creed Origins has a release date of October 27, which we assume is for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
In addition to the gameplay above, Ubisoft released a worldwide premiere trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins, which won’t cause you any console wars conniptions to view, unlike this one.
Well! it may not have been a surprise, but Assassin’s Creed Origins looks like it was worth the wait, eh?
