The lack of cloud save support, or really any way to back up your save files on the Nintendo Switch, is one feature somehow Nintendo didn’t think was important to add. That’s not the only puzzling decision the company made with the Switch, though.
There are somehow still friend codes, and then there’s of course that great way to use voice chat on the console.
But Nintendo hears you, and Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime told Kotaku that although he hears fans’ concerns, he has nothing to say on the matter.
“I can’t say there’s a solution coming, but we do hear the message,” he said.
As it stands, if your Switch console dies for any reason, there’s no way for you to back up your saves and resume on another system. You can always try your luck with Nintendo Support, though.
