The Tomorrow Children, the experimental PS4 MMO, will be closing down its servers this November.
If you feel it hasn’t been long since the game was released, it’s because it only came out in September, 2016.
First pitched as a paid game, The Tomorrow Children switched models to free-to-play just before launch. The game is developed by Q-Games, and it featured a mix of survival and sandbox concepts wrapped in a pseudo-socialist society atheistic.
It was a fun and very different game to the usual fare but The Tomorrow Children will be closing in November, your last chance to play EVER!

Creator Dylan Cuthbert revealed the news on Twitter, saying that there was no way for the studio to get new players into the game. Being an online-only game, The Tomorrow Children won’t be playable after November 1. One other reason for this surprise move is that it would have been hard for the studio to keep making new content and operating the game.
Many Twitter replies shared Cuthbert’s disappointment about the news, though the creator cited lack of support in the West as another reason things are what they are today.
Sony killed another online-only exclusive earlier this year when it shut down servers for Kill Strain. The game was less than a year old when the decision was made.
