Destiny 2 beta players are being hit with a “termite error”.
That’s the latest error code being thrown up by the Bungie servers, and it seems to be related to the amount of players trying to access the game.
According to Bungie you should just continue to try to log in and play the game while it monitors the situation.
We are monitoring reports of Termite error codes as the population of the Destiny 2 Beta rises. Please continue your attempts to login.

Here at VG247 we had to wait 5-10 minutes to access the game and now we’re in and killing the Cabal like we never left.
It seems if you do come up against the termite error you should just be patient and keep trying.
Update: Bungie says the Termite issue should now be resolved.
Issues causing error code Termite on the PS4 Destiny 2 Beta should now be resolved. Please restart Destiny if you still see this error code. https://t.co/vRGEDRvIHo

Just restarts the Destiny 2 beta client and you should be good to go. On the off chance you don’t know how to do that, just hold the PS button down on the controller, then choose “close application” from the quick menu. Restart the app, and bam – off you go to space.
