Star Wars: Battlefront 2 new story trailer will introduce you to Inferno Squad

D23 brought us many new details about Marvel, and Disney games, and you can bet Star Wars: Battlefront 2 was among them.

At the show, EA debuted a new behind-the-scenes trailer that’s focused entirely on the game’s story, which it made sure to remind everyone it’s going to be part of the larger canon. We get to find out a little bit about the relationship between Iden Versio, her squad mates, and her father.

This is our first look proper look at Inferno Squad members Has (played by Arrow’s Paul Blackthorne), and Del. Versio’s backstory is also touched on a bit, revealing how she came to be part of a special forces unit.

There’s lots of new footage in there, but most of it is from cut-scenes. We do see a few snippets of actual gameplay, though we definitely want to see more.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is out November 17 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A beta for the game was recently announced. It’s coming in the first week of October.
