Danganronpa 3 gets a surprise demo ahead of next month’s release

By James O'Connor

This post will be spoiler-free, because I haven’t actually finished Danganronpa 2 yet (after loving the first one) and don’t wait to ruin it for myself.

A new trailer has dropped to let us know that the Danganronpa 3 demo is currently available on PSN. You can pick it up on both Vita and PS4.

What the trailer doesn’t tell you, though, is that there’s also a Steam demo available. It’s not attached to the main page for Danganronpa 3, though: it can be found here.

It looks like Danganronpa 3 will be set in a school again, after 2 moved the action to an island resort. The demo will give you a chance to meet the new crew (although the protagonists of both previous games feature, apparently just for the demo) and get to grips with the series’ unique, twisty murder-solving take on the visual novel genre.

Danganronpa 3 released in Japan back in January. The PlayStation versions are due on September 26 in the US, September 29 in Europe and October 6 in Australia, whereas the Steam version will release worldwide on September 26.
