Splatoon 2’s next Splatfest has been dated and poses the age old question: flight or invisibility?

Splatoon 2’s September Splatfest doubles down on the difficult questions.

Splatoon 2’s last Splatfest pitted ketchup lovers against mayonnaise munchers and mayo won the day in Europe and America. Over in Japan, ketchup was crowned king of the condiments.

The game’s demo launched with a pre-release Splatfest, where cake and ice cream fought for supremacy, with team ice cream emerging victorious.

Nintendo throws another impossibly difficult choice our way with the second post-launch Spatfest, where players will have to decide between which super power they’d prefer to have – flight or invisibility.

They announced September’s Splatfest on their Twitter account and later confirmed the details in a press release on the Splatoon 2 North American bundle – complete with pink and green Joy-Cons – exclusive to Walmart.

Picking invisibility is a sure fire way to get yourself run over, or overhear a loved one talk about what a royal pain in the bum you are, so obviously flight is the superpower of choice. Imagine the money you’d save on airfare.

Plus you’d have to be running around in your birthday suit to make the most of being invisible, and if you’re not already a pervert, you will be by the time you’ve taken your new powers for a spin.

You’ve got plenty of time to pick a side before the Splatfest on Friday September 1 and Saturday September 2.

Let us know which super power you’d vote for in the comments below.
