Xbox Game Pass doesn’t technically support PC, but you can play ReCore there thanks to Xbox Play Anywhere
It looks like if an Xbox Game Pass title supports Xbox Play Anywhere, you’ll be able to play it on PC and Xbox One.
At least, that’s the case with the recently released ReCore: Definitive Edition. The enhanced version was added to Xbox Game Pass as part of the service’s September line-up.
Now, Windows Central is reporting that the game’s page is accessible on the Windows Store. If you have an active Game Pass subscription, you can download and play it on both PC and Xbox One.
It’s not clear if this working as intended – the game is a part of Xbox Play Anywhere, after all – or simply a bug. Microsoft did not previously say if Xbox Play Anywhere titles will retain this feature when joining Game Pass.
Nevertheless, you’re now able to download and play it without a hitch. You also get to benefit from cross-platform saves and achievements. We’ll no doubt know for sure the next time an Xbox Play Anywhere title is released on Game Pass.
Xbox Game Pass costs $10 and allows you unlimited access to an ever-changing roster of titles.
