Although the whole Clan system was overhauled just prior to the launch of Destiny 2, the actual in-game feature will not be live for some time.
Bungie confirmed earlier that the feature will miss “the first several days” after launch. What’s more, the developer could not give an estimate as to when it’ll go live.
In-game Destiny 2 Clan Features will be unavailable for the first several days after launch. Stay tuned for announcements of availability.

The Clan features in Destiny 2 include being able to show a unique Clan banner, earn rewards for being part of a Clan, and invite other players to join Nightfalls and Raids with your clan mates as part of the Guided Games feature.
Bungie previously said that Guided Games will kick off a soft beta launch on September 12 for the Nightfall. Raid support for Guided Games will be added on September 26, also part of a soft launch.
The raid itself will unlock next week, on September 13 for all, so it looks like solo players will have to rely on the old fashioned ways of finding players to do the raid.
For the time being, you’ll only be able to manage your clan through Bungie’s website.
