Destiny 2 is here. Clear your calendar, clear your desk.
Last week was very busy, but most publishers have sensibly elected not to hang about in the first full week of September where Destiny 2 squats, snarling and sucking up all available funds.
Just about the only competition to Bungie’s next big thing is failed PS4 mascot Knack 2, which we assume Sony wanted to bury so nobody would laugh at it, and Monster Hunter Stories on 3DS, which – well, good on ya, Capcom, that’s very brave. Good luck!
If you’re not into space face shooting there are some things happening elsewhere, including LEGO Worlds and a swathe of new indies on Switch.
Oh, and something called Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth on PS4, which someone on staff felt was important enough to get a highlight. Possibly just out of desperate hope they will be allowed to write about anything but D2 this week. Ha ha ha! No. Get back in your cage and try to find a good pun on “engram”.
