Someone made a live action short based on PUBG

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in real-life, only things here don’t exactly follow the same rules.

I have no doubt that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has inspired many fan creations since its release. Whether it be comic, fan art, or even live-action recreations of some of the silly things that happen in the game.

But few have the production values and attention to detail of YouTube creators Corridor, who’ve been doing digital, special effects-driven films for years online. You probably know them from this GTA in real-life video, and the one where GTA 5’s Trevor goes batshit.

Their latest production imagines a Battlegrounds world where machetes are a real threat. That’s not all of it, of course, trademark PUBG occurrences like crawling around to hide from enemies, and arguing about whether to go for that airdrop or not are also here. As are the weapons, player skins, and the overpowered pan.

They even managed to slip a bit in there where one player mistakenly thinks he hears an approaching car, before everyone corrects him that what he actually hears is a plane.
