Warner Bros. isn’t making any more Batman Arkham games, says Batman actor Kevin Conroy

According to voice actor Kevin Conroy – well known for being the voice of Batman in the animated series, as well as most games – we’re not getting any more Arkham games.

Conroy attended the Nashville Wizard World Comic Con recently and was asked during a panel if he knows about any plans to make any more Batman Arkham games or expansions of any kind, and his answer was no.

“You know, I can’t believe that they’re not going to do another one, but they’re not. Isn’t that amazing?” he told the audience. “It’s… they made literally billions of dollars on those games. But, no, there’s no plan to do another one. Sorry.”

Here’s the clip of an audience member asking him, via Matt Sifford‏.

It’s not clear if Conroy was specifically referring to the Rocksteady-made, mainline Arkham series, or to the Arkham franchise as a whole. Though he did star in all three games, Warner Bros. Montreal made another one – the prequel Arkham Origins, which most definitely did not have him playing Batman.

Still, it’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from Rocksteady, or Warner Bros. Montreal for that matter, about a new comic book game. It’d be disappointing if Rocksteady’s next game is another one about Batman, though.
