Check out this wonderful footage of a game that lets you play as a horrible stealthy goose

By James O'Connor

‘Untitled Goose Game’ lets you live out your loud-honking, sandwich-stealing, groundskeeper-bothering dreams.

Untitled Goose Game will let you play as a waddling, honking, dickhead of a goose. In this footage, the goose breaks into a yard and steals a bunch of stuff from the groundskeeper, using stealth and speed to escape his grasp. You can also run right at him honking like a bird possessed. It rules.

It’s not clear whether the final game will focus entirely on the conflict between you, the goose, and this one guy that the goose is messing with in the trailer, or whether you’ll get to honk and act weird around all sorts of people. All we know is that we want to play this right now.

Wonderful. Even the description below the video is funny: “It’s a lovely weekday morning in the village and you are a horrible goose.” How good is that piano soundtrack as well? Hopefully the final thing is as dynamic and reactive as it seems from this footage.

Untitled Goose Game is probably still a while off (it is, after all, untitled), but we’re excited. It’s from House House, the studio behind Push Me Pull You, an odd competitive sports title where the players were joined to each other, cat-dog style, with a head and arms at each end of a long skin-toned snake-like body. It was strange but endearing.

Hopefully we’ll see more of Untitled Goose Game soon.
