Destiny 2 PC pre-load now available on Battle.net

By Sherif Saed

The Destiny 2 PC pre-load came online through Battle.net overnight.

If you already pre-purchased the game through Blizzard, you should see a the option to install when you click the Destiny 2 tab. You can also enter your key through Blizzard’s website, in case you bought it from a third-party, and you’ll be able to do the same thing.

Depending on your retailer, you may have to wait a couple of days to get your code. This is not really a problem since the download is 36GB, which is very modest by today’s standards.

Needless to say, you won’t be able to launch the game until Destiny 2’s global launch time on Tuesday, October 24. You should also see the same page for a look at the game’s the minimum and recommended PC specs. Just like the download size, they’re also not very high.

There have been reports of players who were able to download the full game without having pre-purchased it. If you played the beta and never uninstalled it, your client may update to the full thing.
