Destiny 2 servers are currently seeing some backend maintenance, but you shouldn’t have any issues playing the game.
As has been true for the past few weeks in Destiny 2, Bungie is performing some kind of maintenance on a Monday once again this week. Unlike some of these in previous weeks, however, today’s round won’t take servers down for several hours.
Bungie announced today’s maintenance earlier, and it has already kicked off for both Destiny 1, and Destiny 2. The developer did not set a time for when this round will end, but it noted that it shouldn’t impact players.
Destiny 1 & 2 will undergo backend maintenance starting at 09:00 AM PDT. There is currently no expected user impact during this maintenance.

There doesn’t look like a new patch will be released, either, so you should have plenty of time to finish this week’s Nightfall, Flashpoint, and of course, the Iron Banner.
